For most techno enthusiasts, Jeff Mills is a true purveyor of the essence of techno music. He is known all over the world for his hard hitting, stripped down sound. Starting in the early 80’s in Detroit and representing himself as “The Wizard”, Mills perfected his skills on the decks with an assault of true turntable mastery blending, beat juggling, and scratching his way through a set. Mills eventually teamed up with “Mad” Mike Banks, another Detriot mastermind, and helped introduce the highly influential Underground Resistance (UR) entourage to the world of electronic music. Although Mills never left UR, he did choose to try his hand in some of the other cities with strong electronic music scenes. Mills first went to New York and later Berlin where he held down a residency at the Tresor club. Eventually Mills returned to the states, but instead of returning to Detroit, decided on nearby Chicago for his new home. Jeff Mills has released a slew of albums, 12”, and even worked out some soundtrack music throughout the years. With Robert Hood, Mills set up the label Axis along with sub-labels Purpose Maker, Tomorrow, and 6277. To call Jeff Mills prolific is only scratching the surface of this multi-faceted forward thinking artist. To this day Mills continues to blow minds and elevate DJing with his impressive skills on three decks. Missing a chance to experience a truly innovative DJ like this would be a big mistake.

As a DJ, Terrence Parker (known to many as "TP") has become legendary for his quite uncommon yet skillful turntablism style of playing House Music. TP has also become widely admired because he uses an actual telephone handset as headphones; causing some to give him the nick name, "Telephone Man". TP has performed as a DJ in hundreds of cities in more than 25 countries throughout the world. These events range from night clubs (large and small) to music festivals with more that 100,000 people. 
Since 1988, TP has released more than 100 recordings on various labels, and has had top 20 hits with his songs "Love's Got Me High", "The Question" and albums like "Detroit After Dark" in the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, and France. Terrence's high quality of music productions, remixes, and DJ skill has been recognized by organizations such as the Detroit Historical Museum's History of Techno International Exhibit, and Indiana State University's Department Of African American Music And Culture. TP's collective musical works and pioneering efforts have been recognized as a valuable contribution to Detroit's music history, as well as the International History Dance Music. 

Drumcell is the founder of Droid Recordings and co-founder of Droid Behavior along with the Vargas brothers of techno duo Acid Circus. Since the mid Nineties Drumcell has been a firm believer in the power of techno and over the past decade become one of Southern California’s greatest champions.
